I-Beam Anchors
MIO Beam Anchors are portable devices designed to provide a strong and secure anchorage point for workers that require a personal fall arrest system on I and H-beams. MIO beam anchors provide the user with advanced safety features and easy tool-free installation and repositioning. Our patented beam anchors are ideal for use by ironworkers, welders, painters, pipe fitters, insulators and maintenance personnel.

Available anchors configurations:

MIO Sliding Beam Anchors are designed for use on Horizontal beam structures. Beam anchors can be equipped with:
  • Automatic release pins
  • Manual release pins
  • Rollers (to decrease the friction of movement along horizontal beam)
  • Double locks (lock to improve stability)
MIO Sliding Beam Anchors are available in sizes to fit beam flanges from 4 to 24 inches wide and thickness up to 2 3/4 inches.

The Beam Trolley is fully adjustable mobile anchor point to fit horizontal I-beam flanges of up to 14 inches wide and 1 1/8 inches thick. Ball Bearing Wheels allow smooth maneuverability along the I-beam. This unit is constructed from durable high grade aluminum and stainless steel.

MIO® Quick Fix Beam anchor model MFA

MIO Quick Fix Beam Anchor (patent pending) is designed to create a temporary fixed anchorage for personal fall protection systems on vertical I and H beams. This unit installs in seconds without tools. Quick installation is achieved via incorporated unique sliding/tightening mechanism.
Anchor fits I-beam flanges from 4 to 14 inches wide and up to 1 1/4 inches thick.

    Available models:

  • MFA-8 (fits flanges width from 4-8 inches)
  • MFA-14 (fits flanges width from 4-14 inches)

Traditional threaded MIO vertical I-beam anchor is available.

    Vertical I-Beam Anchor features:

  • Mounts to vertical I-beam and top or bottom flange of a horizontal I-beam
  • Stainless steel and aluminum construction

  • Can be used as single attachment point for vertical lifeline
  • Fits I-beam up to 16” wide & 1 1/8” thick.
